II. Functional Description & Applications

Functionality:

  • Triggers Output 1 when detecting a registered ID card.
  • Triggers Output 2 when detecting an unregistered ID card.
  • Supports multi-card recognition and sequential verification.

Applications:

  • Access Control: Triggers door locks, lighting, or automated gates.
  • Escape Rooms: Hidden triggers for puzzle mechanisms (cards embedded in props).
  • Exhibitions: Detects objects to activate videos, lighting effects, etc.

III. Usage Guide

1. Installation

  • Wiring & mounting must be done with power off.
  • Note: The sensing surface is on the blank side (non-labeled face).
  • Penetration Limits:
    • ❌ Metal blocks detection.
    • ✔️ Works through insulators.
    • Max range: 5cm (standard ID cards), 2.5cm (coin-sized cards).

2. Interface Specifications

  • Input 1: Single-trigger port (default: test cap installed).
  • Input 2: Continuous-trigger port (default: test cap installed).
  • Output 1: "Correct" action (registered card detected).
  • Output 2: "Error" action (unregistered card detected).
  • LED Indicators:
    • Input 1 signal: 1 flash.
    • Input 2 signal: 2 flashes.
    • Registered card: Fast red blink.
    • Unregistered card: Slow red blink.

3. Operations
(1) Registering ID Cards

  1. Swipe admin card (fast blink) → LED stays on.
  2. Swipe cards to register (fast blink during swipe).
  3. Swipe admin card again → LED turns green → extinguishes.

(2) N-Point Sequential Verification

  • Common in ordered activation scenarios (e.g., escape rooms).
  • Each module corresponds to a hidden card in props.
  • Daisy-chaining setup:
    • First module: Inputs 1 & 2 capped; Output 1 → Next module’s Input 2.
    • Final module’s Output 1 → Main controller input.
